Messaging Services
|
|
OrderWare applications support both service oriented architectures (SOA) and more traditional
hub and spoke approaches. The system allows an integrated network of service nodes to be deployed
in 'service containers' that can be connected in a logical 'service bus' by communication servers.
This design provides resilience, flexibility and control. Connected applications are 'contained'
independently and can use disparate data formats, with the system managing data transformation
between them. Guaranteed delivery of transformed data is ensured via a built-in message JMS
compliant queue.
Key features of the messaging service include:
- Built-in message queue
- Interopabillity with other message queues
- Publish and subscribe messaging models
- Multiple queues and message filtering
- Synchronous and asynchronous message delivery
- Persistent or non-persistent messaging
- Support for large numbers of destinations and subscribers
